GOOD PLANNING

The following are indications of the potential of problems which can be avoided or reduced through appropriate planning.

Students off learning during a portion of the classroom time.

Disciplinary problems emerging.

A large portion of the class time is used to check homework or review.

Group discussion is used as a primary teaching technique.

The same students are being called on for answers.

The teacher stays in the same spot

The teacher is seated during the class.

Students wander around the room.

The teacher is behind the podium.

The teacher relies on one teaching technique.
